UNHCR, humanitarian aid to operations in Myanmar
Humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, refugees and returning refugees according to UNHCR's country programme. The Office of the High Representative for Refugees needs a total of 68 mln USD (49,6 mln euros) to carry out its operations in Myanmar, where it has the largest country programme in South-East Asia. The main focus of UNHCR's work are the around 800 000 stateless people in the Rakhine state and nearly half a million internally displaced persons who have fled their homes due to conflict.
