Joint Action for Food - Food Security in Eastern and Southern Africa
Description
Malnutrition is one of the major causes of diminishing health and productivity in hiv/aids affected communities. The purpose of the project is to improve nutrition and food security of people living with hiv/aids through advocacy, networking and enhanced agricultural practices. The project advocates socio-economic and environmental justice, improves knowledge on nutrition and its importance for the people with hiv/aids, and gives training in small-scale farming methods.
