Visits to Finland by journalists from developing countries

The aim of the project is to build networks between Finnish and developing country journalists and to show what openness, freedom of expression and freedom of the press means in practice. Main objective of these media visits is to support political, economic and social development of developing countries according to the development policy and development cooperation objectives of Finland. The total value of the project is 60 000€ and it consists of three parts: 1. thisisFINLAND Foreign Correspondents´ Program (8/2015; 30 000€) 2. Finnish school and education system (5/2015; 15 000€) 3. Appr. 10 custommade mediavisits from developing countries to Finland (thorough the year 2015/15 000€).
