Support to the Open Aid Partnership in 2013
Description
Finland joined the World Bank Institute administered Open Aid Partnership in 2011 in Busan. The Partnership aims at ensuring that information on all ODA funded projects and their objectives will be openly available. It facilitates that citizens both in partner and in donor countries will be able to monitor that funds are used for the purposes they were meant to and facilitate the achievement of the goals. The activity facilitates especially the lives of women and men living in rural areas as without mobile systems the possibilities fo receive information and to have an influence are limited.
