Description

In March 2014 a rapidly evolving outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever started in forested areas of Guinea. The outbreak spread to Sierra Leone and Liberia. Epidemic was not known in the area and the resources to respond were weak. Finn Church Aid activities in Liberia include increasing public awareness of EVD to fight misinformation and improving hygiene standards in the communities. The geogrphical target is 40 communities in Nimba and Grand Gedeh counties. Total number of beneficiaries is over 40 000.
