The Partnership for Innovation in Education in asia and the Pacific will support the design and implementation of pilots of innovative approaches and partnerships in education and skills development to strengthen the contribution of education to human resource development in developing countries in Asia and the Pacific region. The partnership also will support capacity development of stakeholders of education in pursuing innovation and will establish a regional knowledge platform for sharing lessons on innovation in education and skills development. The Partnership will include multiple collaboration platforms, including an ideas incubation market, knowledge generation and sharing, innovation services and technical advisory support. The Finnish contribution will support the design and implementation of the Partnership during the initial two year phase through a TA project.
