KE/Productive workshop for trainees with intellectual disability

The Project aims to strengthen educational opportunities for mentally handicapped children in the area of the Mathare slum, Nairobi, Kenya, through constructing and equipping a technical workshop on the Mathare Training Centre. The main purpose of the project is to improve the living standard of young people of the slums and to reduce their vulnerability to human rights violations, crimes, and to change attitudes towards persons with intellectual disability.
