Women's Empowering Radio

Description What is done in the programme or project and why, what results are pursued, who benefits from the activities and who are involved in the implementation.

Purpose of the project is to strenghten women around Kampala area by improving working possibilities, supporting health and increasing women's knowledge and skills by giving education, information, and counseling in their local languages. MAMA FM radio station will be supported through education and consultation and by developing community information systems especially for women. New ways to raise money for radio are being searched for.
