World Vision Finland; humanitarian aid to Uganda and Rwanda 2018

World Vision Finland is specialized in disability inclusion in its humanitarian programming and is implementing two operations funded by the MFA in 2018. Both operations, Uganda and Rwanda, are disability inclusive WASH projects and also have additional elements of empowering PLWDs and sensitizing the government and other actors, including UN staff, to disability inclusive humanitarian assistance. Uganda operation aims to improve inclusive access to safe water sources in Palorinya Settlement and benefits 42 000 people. The Rwanda operation aims to construct disability inclusive WASH facilities and renovate old ones to be accessible. this operation benefits approximately 12 500 beneficiaries. MFA funding for the operations in 2018 is 1 000 000 EUR.
