Training programme on development policy and cooperation

Training on development policy and development cooperation contains three different parts: general training, development policy days and attached workshops and further training, including on-the-job training and peer learning. The target group for the training is the MFA staff working with development questions including local staff at the embassies and people recruited to international development cooperation assignments. Some training courses are also open to representatives from organisations or consultancy companies engaged with Institutional Cooperation Instrument (ICI) or other development cooperation projects. The objective of the training is to ensure and improve professional skills on development policy and development cooperation. The wider objective is to further enhance effectiveness of development cooperation.
