Humanitarian assistance; Fida International

In 2016 Fida International implements an operation in the DRC. Due to the armed conflicts 7,5 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance. The aim is to support internally displaced persons, returnees and host families through access to basic needs and giving support to their lives in Beni, Rutshuru, Nyiragongo, Masisi and Goma. Operation includes the distribution of NFI's, food security and psychosocial support. There are 30 100 beneficiaries in the operation. The partnering local organization is CEPAC. The support to the operation is 700 000 €.
