Description
African Biosciences Initiative (ABI) has been established by NEPAD. Southern African Network for Biosciences (SANBio) is one of four ABI-networks. The Government of Finland and the Government of South Africa have jointly supported the establishment of SANBio through the BioFISA Programme from 2009 - 2012. A second phase for the support programme has been developed based on extensive stakeholder consultations and a Mid Term Evaluation for 2013 - 2016.
