Support to LDC participation in the III International Conference on Financing for Development (Addis Ababa 2015) and its preparatory process

The project aims at wider impact of the third international conference on financing for development, especially through strengthening of the preparations as regards content, wide mobilization of support, communication and inclusive participation. The preparatory process for the conference consists of stakeholder consultations, regional and global meetings and events, informal meetings on the substance and negotiations of the conference outcome document. From the Finnish development policy point of view it is important that representatives from the least developed countries, including civil society, are able to participate in the conference and the preparatory process in order to ensure constructive dialogue between all partners and stakeholders. Finnish support is 95 000 euros for the year 2015.
