Humanitarian situation in Sudan remains difficult. There are constant fights and tensions in Darfur, South Kordofan, Blue Nile and in the border areas of South Sudan. The difficult situation in South Sudan increases the need also in Sudan. Estimated 6,1 million people are in need of food assistance. The financing for WFP to Sudan is 1 MEUR.
