Assesment on Effectivenes of the Finnish Development Policy Committee

Description What is done in the programme or project and why, what results are pursued, who benefits from the activities and who are involved in the implementation.

Aim of the assessment is to review the influence of the Finnish Developiment Policy Committee's work related to the Finnish government and to the objectives set in the Committee's mandate. The work of the Committee will especially be evaluated in relation tohow the Committee has promoted policy coherence. The assessment will also analyse how the Committee has activated discussion among its member organisations. The assessment will produce alternative operation models for the Committee and also recommends what kind of committee could best serve the government (incl. ministries) and the different interest groups presented in it. The objective of the assessment is that the future Development Policy Committee could fulfill expectations and aims set to it in the best possible manner.
