PS/Promoting Palestinian Dialogue and Consensus
Description
The project aims to promote consensus and sustainable unity among Palestinians from across the political, geographic and social spectrum through structured dialogue producing concrete instruments and mechanisms that address and resolve impediments to Palestinian unity. It also aims to broaden the inclusiveness of the political process in Palestine by targeting mid-level political actors, and at creating and maintaining confidence and trust among them, through a framework of sustained dialogue. The project builds on an ongoing project by CMI, which has been implemented with the same target group. The structure of the process includes large workshops ans small group meetings among the target group. The meetings have been designed to enable continous face-to-face dialogue and joint assessment of the need for supportive instruments and mechanisms, as well as their advocacy.
