Assessment of Nepalese dental education

Description What is done in the programme or project and why, what results are pursued, who benefits from the activities and who are involved in the implementation.

The development objective of this project is to improve oral health in Nepal through improvement of the quality of dental teaching in all Nepalese Schools of Dentistry (SDs). The immediate objective for the Nepalese is to revise the curricula and renovate the facilities in SDs. For this reason a feasibility study is needed to assess the current curricula and the needs for improvement of facilities. Based on the results of this feasibility study a wider project will be planned in order to reach the immediate and development objectives.
