Local Soil BioChar for food security

Description

The aim of this project is to investigate and test the use of biochar as a way to enrich the soil when blended with compost or other type of fertiliser. It has been marked that biochar improves the yield, which would increase the return on agriculture. Furthermore biochar production could generate income for the poor as well as work as a more sustainable alternative for artificial fertilisers. Biochar as mosquito repellent will also be researched.
