The implementation of development policy programme in Vietnam has been delegated to the country level to the Embassy of Finland in Hanoi. This includes for example identification, planning, monitoring and evaluation of the development cooperation projects and programmes. This also entails development policy programme of Finland. The objectives are to promote supervision, monitoring and auditing of development cooperation projects, strengthen results-based management and human rights based approach in the implementation of development cooperation in Vietnam, participate in the joint country analyses of donors, report and communicate on the harmonization, effectiveness and transition of development cooperation, organize visits to Finland to enhance development cooperation and strengthen the capacities of the development cooperation team in the Embassy.
