TN/Supporting state-civil society
Description
CMI suggests to offer a support mechanism for participatory assessment of causes of conflicts and discussion on as well as development of appropriate, joint policy responses to the Tunisia state and civil society actors. This mechanism would both directly and indirectly promote dialogue within and between the stakeholders and thereby support peace and development in the country. Assessment of causes of conflicts and designing policy recommendations to address them will be conducted through both separate and joint meetings of working groups consisting of state representatives and civil society actors. A coordination committee consisting of both groups´representatives and CMI´s local think tank partner will steer process under CMI´s strategic leadership.
