Description

Aim: To establish functional and equitable carbon financing programme in place based on avoided deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) for climate change mitigation; enhance knowledge and scientific basis on forest carbon; strengthen the capacity of the government and local communities on REDD mechanisms. Activities: Research, forest and carbon inventories; establish database on carbon stock; awareness raising and training.
