The country strategy for bilateral development cooperation between Finland and Tanzania concentrates on two main clusters: 1) Improved performance of the public sector, 2) Increased employment and livelihoods. The main instruments for cooperation are program and project support. The purpose of the planning funds is to improve the implementation and quality of Finland's development cooperation. The planning funds will be used for costs related to the preparation, monitoring and evaluation of the country strategy programs and projects and for promoting the quality and achievement of results of the development cooperation. The funds will also be used for policy influencing and dialogue and promotion of synergies between the country strategy and Team Finland work.
