7,7, million people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) need food aid. this number is estimated to increase to 13 million in 2018, which is over 6 million more than in the beginning of 2017. UN humanitarian response plan for DRC for 2017 is 812 million USD and reaches 8 million beneficiaries. 48 % of the appeal is funded in November 2017.
