Women's Empowerment in Political Affairs Seminar and workshops in Libya

Women's empowerment political affairs will be the topic for a seminar and workshops organized in Tripoli Libya on 15th and 16th May 2012. The aim is to reach out to women wanting to participate in the politics and give them peer support and talk about the means and method on how to be influencial in the political arena. Long lasting political repression has left a vacuum in the political know how in the country. Women interested in the political affairs do not have much peer support in the country and now at the conference Tunisian and Finnish women will talk about their experiences. The purpose of the seminar and and the workshops is to strengthen the womens' capacity to develop a succesful electoral campaign.
