WB/Support for the preparation and implementation of transport and logistics reforms in Ukraine

The project implemented by World Bank (WB) aims at preparing together with Ukrainian authorities a transport and logistics strategy in order to improve efficiency of Ukraine's transport logistics. The project identifies the main regulations and/or procedures that may require amendments or capacity development, or may have an adverse effect on the performance of the sector. In addition, plans to implement proposed reforms will be designed. European Comission's Support Group for Ukraine will monitor the implementation of the project. The overall budget for the project is EUR 1,5 million for 2015-2017,of which Finland's contribution is EUR 500 000. Other financiers are EU and WB. Part of the Finnish funding will be tied to the costs of a Finnish expert working in the project.
