Description
The project improves the situation of people with disabilities in humanitarian crises by providing guidance by UNICEF on the project: The IASC Guidelines on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action: Development of Global Guidelines with Active Engagement of Stakeholders. This guidance clarifies how the needs and rights of people with disabilities are best taken into account in humanitarian aid activities and how their involvement in the design of humanitarian aid is promoted.
