Spring 2014: Fida International and its local partner CEPAC (Communauté des Eglises de Pentecôte en Afrique Centrale), CEP (45e' Communauté Evangélique de Pentecôte) and PCU (Pentecostal Churches of Uganda) provide humanitarian assistance to refugees from Congo DRC in Western Uganda and to internally displaced persons in eastern DRC by providing them with non-food items, improving their food security and offering them psychosocial support. Out of the operation's over 29 000 beneficiaries, the most vulnerable - children and women - are prioritised. The operation's total budget is 1 000 000 euros.
