Description
The Project empowers women under a risk of trafficcking or victims of trafficking. The project offers the necessary support for women to become vectors of social and economic development for their rural local communities. Components are: -NGO Soarta´s staff and volunteers participate in capacity building to better address issues such as fund raising, public campaigning, and community involvment. -NGO Soarta trains 60 women from the rural area to develop their entrepreneurial and civic knowledge, skills and abilities, and support 15 of them to open a local business in order to offer an alternative to migration, labor, organs, and sexual trafficking, and to raise the awareness towards community involvement. -The target group and local business sector will be involved in charity actions dedicated to the victims of trafficking.
