Spring 2014: a total of 1,7 million euros are granted to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' humanitarian aid operations. Of this, 1 200 000 euros is channelled to the IFRC's operation assisting Syrian refugees in Libanon, Iraq and Jordan (food security, nutrition, shelter, livelihoods, health, WASH and capacity building), 500 000 euros to the Federation's Chad appeals assisting sudanese refugees (WASH, food and material assistance and health). Humanitarian assistance to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' operations is channelled through Finnish Red Cross.
