Description

Spring 2014: Finnish Red Cross organizes four 3,5 day trainings related to International Humanitarian Law and humanitarian principles. Participants are 100 - 120 professionals of humanitarian aid, aid workers, UN and states civil servants. Special focus is on persons working with the current ongoing conflicts. Trainings will be organized together with ICRC. ICRC will participate in the selection of the participants. Selection will be made through a selection procedure. Trainings are needed because access is the main challege in the humanitarian field. Access is restricted by many factors, political or military reasons, sometimes the neutrality of the work is not recognized, administrative and security reasons. Tukea esitetään 164 780 euroa.
