Project support for the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) for a project ”Strengthening national human rights defenders and NGO´s capacity to prevent human rights violations and promote change at national level” to be implemented in ODA- eligible countries in Latin America, Asia and East-Europe. FIDH is a non-governmental human rights organization founded in 1922, thus FIDH is the oldest international human rights organization worldwide. FIDH is actively engaged in monitoring human rights and FIDH reports of the monitoring results actively. FIDH aims at obtaining effective improvements in the protection of victims, the prevention of human rights violations. FIDH aims at penalizing the perpetrators in countries where continuous human rights violations weaken stability and conditions for welfare especially in developing countries.
