LDC, funding for the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action

The Istanbul Programme of Action seeks to eradicate poverty and to promote equality and sustainable development in the least developed countries which are the priority in the Finnish development policy. The UN-OHRLLS project aims to promote the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action and to bring out the voice of the LDCs in the processes preparing for the new UN development agenda post-2015 by commissioning a research report and organising a string of events. Prioritising the special needs of the LDSs will also strengthen the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action.
