Centre Ariadna, Supporting Women in Crisis Situations

This is a continuation project called 'Centre Ariadna:Supporting Women in Crisis Situations' which focuses on domestic violence against women in Republic of Moldova by providing a safe place where domestic violence victims and human trafficking victims can find temporary shelter and can receive social, medical and psychological assistance. This project aims to provide activities and services preventing and combating domestic violence and human trafficking. Also, it will cooperate with multidisciplinary team members from northern Moldova for identification,referral and providing qualitative services to the beneficiaries.The project will ensure complete and long-term reintegration of the victims of domestic violence and family abusers through the mobile team activities (social worker, psychologist, lawyer). The project will monitor the cases to ensure complete and long-term reintegration of the victims of domestic violence and family abusers through the mobile team. The long term objective of this project is to contribute to changing the mentality from Moldova regarding the problems of domestic violence and human trafficking. It aims to improve the identification, protection and assistance of the victims and potential victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
