Humanitarian aid to Yemen via WHO
Description
The humanitarian situation in Yemen is one of the most challenging ones on a global scale, Yemen being the poorest country in the Arabian peninsula. The crisis stems from endemic poverty, under-development and local conflicts. It is estimated that there are 15,9 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, which is over 60% of Yemen's population. The WHO requirements for Yemen in 2015 are 25,2 million USD. WHO will be focusing on the areas weakened by conflicts and political instability.
