Coping with Crisis, Conflict, and Change (CWC) program will combine research, policy analysis, convening, and outreach with the overarching goal of strengthening the core tools at the disposal of the United Nations (UN), regional and subregional organizations, and their member states to address the causes of conflict and instability and the requirements for peace. This toolkit includes conflict prevention and preventive diplomacy, sanctions, mediation, peace operations, peacebuilding, statebuilding, and support to countries in transition, particularly in the areas of security, accountable and inclusive governance, justice, and sustainable development.
