SEEMA - Human Rights Approach for Prevention and Response to GBV
Description
As the issue of gender based violence (GBV) is very critical, and sensitive a lot of efforts have been exerted to break the silence around it including the social, cultural factors. The scope of the problem and the increased need for protection due to increased marginalization and displacement that has become a life style for women and children in the Sudan needs action, mechanisms and different handling. The project is focusing on both responce to and prevention of GBV with specific objectives to deliver services to GBV victims as well as raising capacity of service providers, community leaders and sensitization on GBV.
