Organisational Support for UN Women Finland

The Finnish National Committee of UN Women applies the organisational support for the general activities and information. The association is one of the few organisations in Finland that specialises in women's and girl's position in society and it works in collaboration with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. Enhancing gender equality is one of the MDGs and also one of the cross-cutting objectives in the Finnish development policy programme.
