Supporting subnational approaches of political reintegration in Af
Description
CMI is seeking for possibilities to facilitate a dialogue process with structured groups of representatives from different sections of Afghan society, who may not have yet had their say in defining the future of Afghanistan. These would be groups and/or individuals currently marginalised in the highly polarised context dominated by the international community, the Afghan government, and the insurgency. The project is built on the assumption that the settlement in Afghanistan must come through a negotiation process, not military, and that support from the Afghan population is of utmost importance for the acceptance and sustainability of a solution.
