Humanitarian aid; Save the Children Finland 2018 operations

Save the Children Finland (SCF) operations in 2018 will be implemented in Iraq and Somalia. In Iraq, Save the Children aims to improve the well-being of conflict-affected vulnerable children and families in Mosul city, Ninewa governate, through specialized integrated child protection (CP) services and cash transfers (CT). In Somalia, Save the Children will support the most vulnerable families in 14 drought and conflict affected internally displaced people’s (IDP) camps and host communities in Baidoa by addressing their urgent basic needs to prevent further food insecurity, malnutrition, poor health and gender-based violence (GBV). MFA funding for the operations in 2018 is 1 200 000 euros (900 000 EUR in Somalia, 300 000 EUR in Iraq).
