West Bank Protection Consortium

Description

The West Bank Protection Consortium is a programme supported by ECHO and ten EU countries. It provides humanitarian protection, stengthens the development conditions for Palestinian communities in Area C and aims to influence underlying causes of vulnerability and strengthen the accountability of duty bearers. Evaluations made of the programme have confirmed the effectiveness of the programme and that the operating model has been efficient. The programme is implemented by the Norwegian Refugee Council and four other international humanitarian organisations. Finland's funding is 800 000 euros for 2019-2021 and it will be channelled through ECHO (European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operation).
