The purpose is to help develop commercial tree growing and strengthen plantation forestry by smallholder tree growers as sustainable livelihoods, and hence increase wealth in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. The grants to four organizations for TOSP implementation are 1.73 million euros in total during 2019 - 2022. In addition, 100,000 euros is reserved for an external monitoring and evaluation service.
