Description
Global Education Network Europe (GENE), is the network of Ministries and Agencies with national responsibility for global education and related fields in Europe. GENE supports networking, peer learning, research and the development of national high quality global education policy and practice. The main aim of GENE is to support quality and results-oriented global education. GENE brings together over 60 Ministries and Agencies, of Education, Foreign Affairs and International Development, from 25 European countries. GENE is the only larger actor on global education in Europe. Its networks and proximity to the EU has advanced the impact of the network in promoting quality education and related SDG target 4.7.
