FRC humanitarian aid operations 2022

Description

Ministry for Foreign Affairs supports the Finnish Red Cross project in Ethiopia with 2 500 000 euros. The project is implemented together with the Ethiopian Red Cross and it focuses on cash assistance for food and basic needs, as well as provision of water and rehabilitation of water infrastructure. The humanitarian needs in Ethiopia are huge with over 20 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, most of them women and children.
