Stregthening the Mastering of Natural Resources

Description

The Geological Survey has carried out Finnish-funded development cooperation projects in Central Asian countries since 2009. The currently planned IKI project “Strengthening the Mastering of Natural Resources for National Welfare in Uzbekistan” complements the projects carried out since 2014 in the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan. The project supports the development of natural disaster risk management, a modernized geodata collection and distribution, as well as the monitoring of groundwater resources.
