International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies IFRC and Finnish Red Cross FRC humanitarian operations 2020

Ministry for Foreign Affairs will provide 1 000 000 euros for the Finnish Red Cross (FRC) for supporting the COVID-19-operation of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The IFRC, together with the Lebanese Red Cross focuses on epidemic prevention, detection, and response, Risk Communication and Community Engagement and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). The Finnish Red Cross (FRC) supports the operation with financial and material aid, as well as with technical expertise through delegates.
