Women transforming political spaces

The long-term development objective is to build up and sustain strong networks to support women actively involved in politics and encourage women to share information with each other. The women of political parties in Zambia will form an operations model for collaboration and co-operate regularly. Zambia is committed to work towards having 50% women in the political and decision making positions by 2015. The participation and representation of women in decision making at alla levels is important in good governance and facilitating sustainable development. One of the goals of the project is to form new and efficien ways to share information eg. by mobile phones and internet and generate training materials for the women in Zambia.
