Why poverty? - training and professional support for African documentary

Training and professional support for African documentary film makers in Congo, Namibia, tanzania, Mozambique and Kenya is linked to the international Why Poverty? documentary film project which aims at improving by education the level of local documentary work. Project will provide professional support to selected documentary film-makers able to reflect the central issues of overcoming poverty, improving human rights, women's rights and democracy. Story tent method will also be used to collect people's stories. The distribution of productions is guaranteed in Finland and in other countries by 35 broadcasters.
