Finland's Country Development Strategy for Ethiopia is based on Ethiopia's Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP). Planning funds will be used for the preparation and monitoring of the Ethiopia development cooperation programme, training related to development cooperation, for fee of the Development Assistance Group (DAG) and training and monitoring regional cooperation. Funds are used also for monitoring development cooperation in South Sudan. The purpose of the funds allocated to the Embassy of Addis Abeba is to provide adequate resources to efficient and result-based programme cooperation.
