Strengthening the information on climate related capacity-building for developing countries within the Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

Description

Thematic support of 288,000 euros to UNFCCC secretariat for capacity building will strengthen capacity building in developing countries by (i) arranging Durban Forums on capacity building (ii) collecting and analyzing information for the 3rd comprehensive review of the UNFCCC Capacity Building Framework and (iii) updating and enhancing the UNFCCC web-portal on capacity building. This supports the Finnish objectives to reach comprehensive new climate agreement which also takes into account gender sensitivity and indigenous peoples.
