Description
Ebola epidemic is the most widespread (mortality rate, geographics) than ever occured before. Over thousand people has been killed and almost 2000 has been affected. Ebola started from Guinea and it is spread to the neighboring countries Liberia and Sierra Leone. Ebola cases have occured also in Nigeria and Lagos. Situation is severe especially in the fragile states that are recovering from the conflicts. Epidemic goes on and there are few actors in the field. Countries' own health care systems can not respond to the situation. By the request of WHO and local authorities IFRC is going to establish a clinic to care the people. Finnish Red Cross is sending professional heath delegates as well as the information delegates to the area.
